Xhibit Signage devices can only play one schedule at any one given time. As such, when you want to assign a new schedule to the same timeframe, the CMS will notify you that the new schedule you are assigning will override the previous schedule.
How Do I Override Schedules, And Revert To Original Media
Once you have uploaded the media you would like, you can move onto publishing your media. This is done under the “PUBLISH” tab. However, you may run into an issue if you are trying to post to content pieces or playlists at the same time on the same device. So what do you do?

Here is how to override schedules. You can choose to either use the “new” content you just created or uploaded or keep what is already there, i.e “revert to original”. You can also change your scheduled time to avoid this issue.

The system will then ask you to confirm the you want to override the current schedule.
How to Set Media to Revert to Original

Click the “Revert to original after new schedule expires” toggle. This will cause the previous schedule to play once the new schedule expires and not override schedules.
NOTE: The new schedule will need an expiration time/date in order for this feature to be used.
