3. Practice
Pre-planning coupled with practice is key. Conduct drills for hypothetical situations. These drills will help prepare students and staff for worst-case scenarios. Prepare students and staff for situations such as floods, hurricanes, tornados, and active shooters. As a result, they will know how to appropriately react.
