For most use cases, videos offer greatly more engagement than images. When used effectively stock videos can transform digital signage into dynamic, attention-grabbing experiences.
The Mvix Stock Videos App is designed to integrate high-quality video content into digital signage templates without the need for costly custom production.
What You’ll Need
- An Mvix CMS Account
- Internet Connectivity
- An Active Select Suite Plan
Getting Started
- From the Mvix CMS dashboard, (1) hover over “Media” and select the “Add Media” module.
- Then, select (2) “Gallery” and (3) click “Stock Video” to pull up the application.
- From here you’ll see the above screen. To start, (4) select the category of the videos and the orientation.
Tips & Tricks: You’ll want to consider the specific use case when you choose a category. Stock videos should also be used as an “accessory” to the main content. For example, you could add the stock video into a playlist to place in-between content.
- To add videos to your list, simply (5) click on the videos you want and they will be automatically added to the (6) section below.
- By default, the audio on the videos are muted. To unmute, simple (7) click the toggle.
- Once your setup is completed, we recommend that you (8) preview your videos to confirm the order/style of your videos. We also recommend that you include no more than 3 videos in a row as they will create too much “buffer” between the content you show on your screen.
- Lastly, (9) name your title something easy to remember and then (10) click “Save Media” to add this to your media library.
