Template Gallery is one of our newest but most powerful features added to the Mvix CMS.
This feature is designed to help users easily create eye-catching templates without any intensive design work on their side.
Users will have the option of selecting between 2-6 zone options for both landscape & portrait options with HD/4K selections as well.
What You’ll Need
- A compatible digital signage player e.g. Mvix, BrightSign, etc.
- Mvix CMS Software with a supported feature package (Available for Standard & Pro Packages)
- Internet Connectivity
Getting Started
On the CMS, (1) hover over the Templates module and (2) select Template Gallery.
This will open up a window (3) showing up to four (depending on if your account has 4K enabled) categories:
- Full HD Landscape
- Full HD Portrait
- 4K Landscape
- 4K Portrait
After you’ve made your selection, hover over the template and you’ll see all the available options. These are:
- (4) The amount of zones in the template
- (5) Preview the template
- (6) Copy & Customize one template
- (7) Add a checkbox to one or more templates. Then you’ll (8) click “Copy to Library” to copy all selected templates to your template library.
Important note: If you clicked on “Copy & Customize” you’ll automatically be brought to the template editor. If you copied multiple templates, you’ll be brought to the template library where you’ll need to select a template to edit first.
Editing The Template
From here, the workflow is very similar to editing an existing template.
Click on (9) the edit icon to begin editing the media to match your events/data/etc.
Tip: Depending on the template, we recommend to keep the specific theme & color scheme to match the background.
After you make your edits to all the zones, you’ll have an eye-catching design that fits your digital signage needs.
