Cutter Aviation
Cutter Aviation, the world’s oldest continually family-owned and operated fixed-base operator (FBO) network, selects Mvix as their digital signage provider.
Introduction
Founded in 1928, Cutter Aviation is the world’s oldest continually family-owned FBO and aviation service company. Operating in eight major airports in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas, Cutter Aviation provides a wide range of services to transient and based aircraft including fuel and FBO service, maintenance, avionics, new and pre-owned aircraft sales, and charter and aircraft management. They are also a proud dealership of major aircraft brands such as Piper, Socata, and HondaJet.
The Challenge
“It is all about the guest’s experience,” said Genaro Sanchez, Cutter Aviation’s Director of Marketing & Communications. “We want to WOW our guests from the moment they step in the lobby.” Digital signage interacts with guests in a way that traditional signage could not. Today’s technologically savvy customers demand more, expecting companies to stimulate them intellectually and emotionally. “Digital signage is evolving the face-to-face delivery mechanism and we want to reach our clients in a medium that not only adds value to our message but adds value to their overall experience as well,” added Genaro.

Why It Worked
We reviewed quite a number of digital signage providers before choosing Mvix,” said Genaro. “I was very impressed by the features of their solution. We can easily display dynamic content such as images, high-res videos and even pull content from our website!” Mvix’s simple user interface and the ease of updating content are two other features that appealed to Cutter Aviation. With systems in seven of their eight locations, Genaro wanted a solution that offered centralized control and remote management, and Mvix delivered. “We command the signage network from our Arizona location, delivering customized content and schedules to each of the geographically-dispersed locations.”
